Bentley OpenPlant PowerPID V8i (SELECTSeries 5) 08.11.10.427 |
Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, announced new version OpenPlant PowerPID V8i (SELECTSeries 5) 08.11.10, productive and easy-to-use plant design software for the production of P&IDs that allows users to capture and reuse information in an open format.
Bentley has long worked toward the goal of providing interoperability between applications that support open standards. Extensive knowledge and experience with intelligent P&ID systems and a desire to provide a truly open and flexible solution has resulted in OpenPlant PowerPID.
OpenPlant PowerPID is the first commercial P&ID solution based on a completely open data model. Its base data model schema is ISO 15926. Now, any application that is mapped to the ISO 15926 schema can natively interoperate with OpenPlant PowerPID. This means any data created in OpenPlant PowerPID is available to be shared without the need for complex APIs. The data you create is all yours!
OpenPlant is a set of products completely built on the ISO 15926 data model, signaling the next step in plant software development.
