The program supports BIM (BIM) and created specifically for designers and manufacturers of construction applications.

AutoCAD Structural Detailing is used to calculate building structures:
- Intelligent design objects – We work with objects such as beams, columns, plates and rebar.
- Templates detailing – Templates detailing by Russian standards and regulations to help maintain compliance projects GOST and SNIP.
- Base materials – contain standard materials such as steel sections and fittings.
- Automatic species and sites – automatically generated drawings of the cuts, facades and units.
- The specifications and material lists – It is possible the rapid formation of specifications and statements to the projects.
- Custom detailing – Assigning styles, you can produce the drawings, fully meet the organization’s standards.
- Interaction with other settlement programs – Supports import of models of structures produced in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.

- Operating system Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional or Home Premium, Microsoft Windows Vista (SP1) Enterprise, Business, Ultimate, or Home Premium; Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Home (SP2 or higher).
- Dual-Core Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon with a frequency of 3.0 GHz or higher, supports SSE2, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Dual-Core Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon with a frequency of 1.6 GHz or higher, supports SSE2, for Windows XP with 3 GB of RAM.
- 3 GB of hard drive space for standard installation.
- Graphics card supports 1280 x 1024 resolution with 32 bit color depth, True Color (recommended).
- Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer 7,0 or later.
- Pointing device compatible with Microsoft Mouse.
